The Lost Tribe
Finding your inner wild women, earth mother, intuitive self, the soul self that knows what you need, and you listen to her. She has always been there and will never leave you. You must find her, unbury her. |

I thought I'd give you an example of 'before and after' iPhone apps, here is a photo I took of my son yesterday, we were mucking about with a cute app called "iGlasses" which will put a selection of glasses on your face - just for fun!
These glasses are just like his Dad's, which we thought was funny. So the left shot is untouched except for the sunglasses.
Then I started my usual experimentations with a variety of apps and turned it into a black and white image, changed the frame and overlayed a funky modern texture - not all apps have to make your photos look like they've been transported from a 1979 chemist...
The main thing with apps is you have to use them, you have to experiment. You can't expect it to all be perfect after one attempt. But the effort is well worth it.
I love them so much I am now offering Professional iPhone Photoshoots for $150, which includes and 8"x8" archival stretched canvas print. The beauty of having an iPhone is its discretion so we could pretty much go anywhere and take advantage of many locations otherwise out of bounds, not to mention the endless creative possibilities and adventures available in the palm of my hand. |

IPHONEOGRAPHY
is not going away, it's been here for oh...about 3-4 years? It's taking over the world. If you have an iPhone, don't panic, you're in. Do you have apps? Do you even know what apps are? OMG, get with the program. My favourite thing at the moment is Instagram, it's a photo sharing iPhone group a bit like Flickr, only funkier, more exclusive, more usable. Yes it links with Facebook, although all my FB friends go 'uh'? but they still see my photos. What they don't know is that I'm swimming in a community of fellow IG'ers and we are lovin' it. It's FB for photographers, and these days who isn't a photographer - everyone who is a visual pig is welcome.

Recently I took some photos for Miranda Carey, a beautiful Sydney singer. We only had a few minutes to use our historic location at St Mark's church in Hunters Hill which I had use for the day for another photoshoot. I like the mood of this one at the moment, but there are a few different ones, have a look at them on my Truelove Studios Facebook page.

In order to be a full and rounded soul being in this world, I enjoy a bit of singing with The Mamas and The Mamas community choir, all our children and grandchildren are, or have been, to the same primary school. We meet up every Thursday, under the command of our choir mistress Jenny Nyland, who herself is a member of The Honeybees Choir.
Today is our annual fundraising concert, this year we hope to raise a couple of big ones for Juvenile Diabetes.
Please come along and hear a bunch of gorgeous songs, ranging from Paul Young, Chatanooga Choo Choo, African gospel and more...
3pm Boronia Park Uniting Church, Pittwater Rd, Hunters Hill $5 or donation entry.
